Since all my material is usually about quail management, this is a bit out of context – but let me explain. My father was a great sportsman, but he was also a veteran of WW2. He served in Europe and like most of the veterans, rarely spoke of it. I managed to get him to write about his experiences before he passed away in 1998. Over the years I loaned his hand written copy to people to read. All of them told me that I just had to publish this unique and personal perspective of day to day life on the battlefield. So I did. The title is From Foxholes From to Freedom , A Segment of WWII through the Eyes of a Private First Class by John B. Evans.
